COACHES' PROFILES
Dick Ulrich
Head Coach
Dick Ulrich serves as the head coach for men's and women's golf. His experience in intercollegiate athletics includes over 35 years of teaching, coaching and administering athletic programs. Now in his 11th season as the Loggers' coach, he directs and administers all aspects of the golf program. Under Ulrich's guidance, the Logger golf teams have won 18 tournaments in the past five years including two Northwest Conference Championships. The golf program has produced 20 individual tournament medalists, 12 Northwest Conference All-Conference players, and participation in two NCAA Division III National Championship tournaments. Coach Ulrich is committed to the student first concept along with the opportunity for each team member to improve her or his game while having a competitive and enjoyable intercollegiate golf experience
Dave Fiorino
Assistant Coach
Dave Fiorino, Head Golf Professional/Manager at Performance Golf Center in Gig Harbor, joins the Puget Sound coaching staff as the Men's and Women's Assistant Coach. Dave brings a wealth of experience to the golf program as a highly regarded teaching professional, successful high school coach and accomplished collegiate and amateur player. Coach Fiorino is instrumental in the evaluation and teaching techniques of all elements of the golf game. He is available to team members for consultation and individual help. Coach Fiorino also assists with the planning and supervision of practices and competition.
Greg Talley
Consultant and Course Facilitator
Greg Talley, Head PGA Professional at Fircrest Golf Club, serves as a consultant and course coordinator. Greg is instrumental in helping with the arrangements for use of Fircrest's fine golf facilities. Puget Sound has enjoyed a 50 plus years relationship with Fircrest, one of the top rated private golf courses in the Pacific Northwest region.
