Randy HansonHead Coach Randy Hanson

Randy Hanson returns to lead the Loggers in 2006 after taking a year off to work as Director of Soccer Training of Manchester United Soccer Schools at Starfire Sports.  A five-time Northwest Conference coach of the year, Hanson is also taking on the added responsibility of Facilities Manager for the department in the now full-time position.  

Hanson left the program in December of 2004 after leading the Loggers to the NCAA Division III National Championship game.  In his ten seasons at the helm of the Loggers, he has compiled a record of 136-48-17 with five NWC titles.  

Hanson lives in Puyallup with his wife and son.

Dan KeeneAssistant Coach Dan Keene

Dan Keene returns to the Logger women's soccer program for his sixth season in 2006.  The Northwest Conference Coach of the Year in 2005, Keene will be the team's top assistant coach. .

Prior to joining the Puget Sound coaching staff Keene served as the men's head coach at Green River Community College from 1992-99. Keene is involved with local youth clubs FC United and Eastside FC, two of the top premier clubs in the state, and served as an assistant coach for the women's under-17 Olympic Development State Team in 1997.

Keene holds a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education from Pacific Lutheran University, where he enjoyed a four-year soccer-playing career. Keene resides in Bonney Lake, Washington.

Kelly BendixenVolunteer Goalkeeper Trainer Kelly Bendixen

Bendixen has recently finished his 15th and final year as an Assistant Coach and Goalkeeper Coach at the University of Puget Sound (UPS), serving for five years with the Men's soccer program, and the last 10 years with the Women's program. As a former All-Conference member of the Men's team at UPS, he brings a wealth of experience and talent for developing goalkeepers. Bendixen has a U.S.S.F. National "A" Coaching License and a NSCAA National Level I Goalkeeping Diploma. He is also a licensed Washington State staff Goalkeeper Instructor for youth ages 8-13 and 13-19. He has recently served as a staff goalkeeper coach for Tony DiCicco's Soccer Plus Goalkeeping School and with various youth teams and organizations including FC Royals and FC United Premier Club, Norpoint Soccer Club, and the Washington State Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program.
