Theme Houses
Theme Houses at Puget Sound are intended to create strong links between learning and living environments. Theme houses create unique opportunities for education within the living environment and throughout campus by planning educational programs that relate to the theme of the house. Past examples of these activities include wilderness outings (the Outhaus) or the Alphabet Music program (the Music House). Each Theme House has a student Coordinator who is responsible for organizing and coordinating the activities of the house and serving as a liaison to Residence Life. House members are responsible for participating in the planning and implementation of four programs per semester. A faculty or staff member, along with a Residence Life staff member, advises the house members in their efforts.
If you are interested in participating in the Theme House Program, application forms for next year (2008-2009) will be available at the Residence Life office, 3209 N. 15th, at spring semester.
