Conditions of Employment

Applicants are expected to provide true and complete information when requesting consideration for employment with the University of Puget Sound. Should an investigation, at any time disclose any misrepresentation or falsification, an application may be rejected, or an individual may be dismissed from the University of Puget Sound, if already employed. It should be understood that any offer of employment which may be made to an individual is contingent on satisfactory reference information, the presentation of documents which prove identity and eligibility for employment in this country, and on satisfactory completion of a medical examination, strength test, drug testing, and background inquiry, when required. An individual employed by the University of Puget Sound has the right to terminate his/her employment, with or without prior notice or cause, at any time and the University of Puget Sound retains the same right to terminate her/his employment at any time, with or without notice or cause, regardless of any other documents or oral or written statements issued by the University of Puget Sound or its representatives.
