Security Services

If university offices are closed and you have a concern about your son or daughter, Security Services is available to assist you. Officers are on duty at all times and can contact other professional staff in an after-hours emergency.

Security Services patrols the campus, administers and enforces campus parking and traffic regulations, and registers student motor vehicles. All student vehicles must be registered.

As protection against theft and vandalism, this office provides information about marking and identifying personal property. Security Services also provides an escort service for students who are studying or participating in a campus activity and do not wish to return to a residence hall or campus house alone. Escorts also are available to and from many off-campus locations.

Security staff, trained in crisis response and emergency first aid, maintains radio contact with Tacoma fire, police, and emergency medical services.
