Financial Aid

Financial aid available to graduate students is composed of federal loans, state work-study employment, and a limited number of departmental scholarships and fellowships.

Eligibility for need-based financial aid is based on demonstrated financial need.  Financial need is defined as the difference between the total cost of attending Puget Sound and the amount you are expected to contribute as calculated by submitting the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The cost of attendance is the total cost of tuition billed by the University, plus a standard calculation for room and board allowance, books and supplies, transportation, and personal expenses.
