Mr. Williams holds a BA from the University of Oregon and a MA from the University of Washington. He has played in a variety of prestigious ensembles, including the Seattle Symphony, the Seattle Opera Orchestra and the Seattle Brass Ensemble. He serves as principal trombonist for the Pacific Northwest Ballet orchestra and the Auburn Symphony orchestra. Williams has performed on several recordings of the Seattle Symphony.
