Doug Rice, a graduate of the Cornish Institute in Seattle, studied with Michael Lorimer and Julian Bream.  He has played extensively in the northwest and has taught at National Guitar Summer Workshops.  Mr. Rice is an adjudicator, editor, publisher, and composer of music.  He enjoys teaching at a school focused on the liberal arts, in a quiet but academically stimulating atmosphere.
