Sustainability Pledges

The Sustainability Advisory Committee offers the campus community two opportunities to pledge their commitment to sustainability. The first is a general sustainability pledge for the whole campus community:

I support Puget Sound's commitment to be a more sustainable institution and responsible steward of the planet's natural resources, as evidenced by the signing of the Talloires Declaration and the Presidents Climate Commitment. I pledge to do my part to reduce the university's carbon footprint and live a more sustainable lifestyle.

The second pledge is for graduating seniors to commit to consider sustainability in their job search and subsequent employment culture:

I pledge to explore and take into account the social and environmental consequences of any job I consider and will try to improve these aspects of any organizations for which I work.
