Polar Bear Walks Library on Earth Day On Earth Day, April 22, 2008, a unique polar bear and its counterpart sauntered through the main floor of Collins Library, stunning spectators with its realistic effects. This creature compelled those around to look twice, impressing all with its dark blinking eyes, moving jaw and bear-like strut.
The pair is part of a traveling parade called "The Backbone Parade" that uses iconic festival art to celebrate a future vision for our nation. You can learn more at: http://www.ProcessionForTheFuture.org |
