LOGGERS AND BEARCATS SET MAKE-UP DATE
TACOMA, Wash. - Nearly a month after the original doubleheader was rained-out, the Puget Sound Loggers and Willamette Bearcats have rescheduled their Northwest Conference softball doubleheader for Monday, April 14 in Tacoma, Wash. The original date was March 15 in Salem, Ore.
The Bearcats, who also will visit the Loggers on Saturday in a previously scheduled twinbill, will be the designated home team in both of the games on Monday. In addition to their Saturday and Monday tilts with Willamette, the Loggers will host Linfield in a NWC doubleheader on Sunday at Logger Softball Field.
The Loggers have lost eight games to weather in 2008, including three NWC games in Spokane last weekend. These are the only two games expected to be made up.
