SOFTBALL TILT WITH SFU CANCELLED
TACOMA, Wash. - Already having lost one game to moisture this week, the Puget Sound Loggers have cancelled Saturday's scheduled softball doubleheader with Simon Fraser, as announced on Friday morning. The twinbill, which was to be a pair of exhibition games for the Loggers, is not expected to be made up.
The Loggers had the second game of their non-conference doubleheader on Wednesday called in the second inning due to a combination of rain and hail. The forecast for the Tacoma area for Friday and Saturday is calling for a mixture of rain and snow with temperatures in the 30s and 40s.
Puget Sound will now turn its focus to the resumption of Northwest Conference play on April 5 at Whitworth in Spokane, Wash.
