BACK FROM CALI

After a pair of matches in California, the Loggers turn their attention back to NWC play this week, traveling to Pacific.

The Loggers on Spring Break

Playing down in Southern California, the Loggers picked up a 6-3 in the opening match of their trip, defeating the Poets of Whittier. The Loggers swept the doubles matches and then split the singles play en route to the victory. The next day, the Loggers fell to the University of La Verne, falling 5-4 to the Leopards. Rochelle Hebert was the only UPS player to win a played match, defeating Claudia Chavez, 6-2, 6-0.

Scouting Pacific

The Boxers currently hold a record of 0-12 on the year. Their closest match of the season came against the Loggers on Feb. 23, with UPS earning the 5-4 win in Tacoma. Pacific has won just six of 60 singles matches and three of 33 doubles matches.
