Brittany Hodgson Named Track Athlete of the Year March 13, 2008
NEW ORLEANS - Puget Sound senior distance runner Brittany Hodgson has been named Division III West Region Women's Indoor Track Athlete of the Year by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), as announced on Wednesday.
Hodgson was honored after she ran the mile in 5:14.73 at the UW Preview in December. She also finished 53rd at the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships in November to lead the Loggers to a 23rd place finish as a team.
