LOGGER WOMEN 2ND AT WILLAMETTE INVITE

WOODBURN, Ore. - Freshman Sarah Bicker (Salt Lake City, Utah/Skyline) shot an 85 on the final 18 holes to help the Puget Sound Loggers to a second place finish at the Willamette Invitational at OGA Golf Course in Woodburn, Ore.

Bicker took fourth in the individual standings after shooting 174 for the two-day event. Sophomore Maresa Jenson (Whitefish, Mont.) finished sixth after shooting a pair of rounds of 89. Willamette's Whitney Ueno took medalist honors after shooting 160 for the 36-hold event. Pacific took first place as a team, shooting a combined 717 to finish nine strokes ahead of second-place Puget Sound.

The Loggers will next be in action on March 29-30 at the Northwest Conference Spring Classic at Quail Valley Golf Course in Forest Grove, Ore.
