BASEBALL TRIPLES UP STAGS

CLAREMONT, Calif. - Sophomore Dusty Kauflin (Boulder, Colo.) pitched a gem and the Puget Sound Loggers had home runs from both Michael Olsen (Niwot, Colo.) and Joe Newland (Tulalip, Wash./Marysville-Pilchuck) as the Loggers tripled up the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Stags, 9-3, in a NCAA Division III baseball game on Friday afternoon in Claremont, Calif.

The Loggers will play a pair of games on Saturday, taking on Mass.-Dartmouth at 8:30 a.m. before playing Redlands following that game. Both games are scheduled to be played at Redlands.
