The Loggers split their matches again last week, falling to Pacific Lutheran before bouncing back against Pacific.

The Loggers vs. Pacific Lutheran

Taking on nationally-ranked Pacific Lutheran, the Puget Sound Loggers played the Lutes tough but still fell 9-0 in a Northwest Conference men's tennis match on Friday afternoon at the UPS Tennis Pavilion in Tacoma, Wash.

The Lutes picked up three quick points in doubles play but the Loggers didn't go down easily, winning their share of games to make PLU work. In singles play, Pacific Lutheran swept the Loggers but not without some tough second sets.

The Loggers vs. Pacific (Ore.)

On Saturday, the Loggers swept past Pacific. After three wins in doubles play, the Loggers singles continued to dominance, not allowing a third set tiebreaker at any of the six positions.

Scouting Whitworth

The Pirates head into the weekend with a record of 6-3 overall and 6-1 in NWC competition. Last week, they earned a 5-4 win at home over Willamette before falling to Linfield, 3-6.

Scouting Whitman

The Missionaries are currently 4-5 on the year but 4-0 in NWC play. In conference play, Whitman is 21-3 in individual matches and 10-2 in doubles matches.
