PORTLAND, Ore. - Behind a career-high 34 points from junior guard Antwan Williams (Portland, Ore./Madison), the 11th-ranked Puget Sound Logger erased a 20-point half-time deficit to earn an overtime victory, 92-87, over the Lewis & Clark Pioneers in a Northwest Conference men's basketball game on Friday evening in Portland, Ore.

In the first period, the Pioneers (9-6, 3-4 NWC) opened up the game with a 15-0 run to put the Loggers (13-2, 6-1 NWC) far behind early. The Loggers finally got on the board at the 12:41 mark when Williams hit a three-ball. L&C continued to pull ahead, taking a 42-22 lead into the break.

In the second period, the Pioneers fell apart as the Loggers turned on the jets. After building a lead of as many as 26 points, the Pioneers allowed the Logger to get within 10 points with just over three minutes remaining and with the Loggers down by two points with six seconds remaining, Williams hit a jumper with no-time left on the clock to send the game into overtime.

In the extra period, the Loggers continued to dominate, not allowing Lewis & Clark a score until just 58 seconds remaining in the extra period as Puget Sound earned the 92-87 win.

The Loggers were led by the 34 points and 10 rebounds from Williams, including 11-of-18 from the field and 10-of-13 from the charity stripe.  Junior Jason Foster (Tacoma, Wash./Foss) and senior Taylor Marsh (Lynnwood, Wash./Meadowdale) each added 19 points with Foster adding nine boards.  Robert Krauel (Phoenix, Ariz./North Canyon) chipped in 11 points to go with six rebounds in his first start of the season.
