Puget Sound Is A Top-Producing Peace Corps Volunteer School

WASHINGTON, D.C., January 14, 2008 - The Peace Corps announced their annual list of "Top Peace Corps Volunteer Producing Colleges and Universities" today. This year Puget Sound ranked fourth with 26 alumni currently serving as volunteers.
Last year, Puget Sound took the top spot among small schools with 30 alumni volunteers. Over 220 Puget Sound alumni have joined Peace Corps' since it was founded.
Schools are ranked according to the size of the student body. Small schools are those with less than 5,000 undergraduates, medium-sized schools have between 5,001 to 15,000 undergraduates, and large schools more than 15,000 undergraduates.
