Students receive an e-mail when new billing information is available to view on their Cascade Web account. Parents that assist a student with payment must be authorized by their student to receive their own e-mail notification and Cascade Web access. Students provide this authorization on their Cascade Web Billing Notifications Options page. If special arrangements are needed, students should contact our office for assistance.

Recent media reports have been causing concern for families about the availability of funding for educational loans for the 2008-09 year. While it is true that capital markets are experiencing a challenging time, we are assured by the Department of Education and by Congress that students will be able to borrow federal loans for the upcoming year.
More Details It's not too late to Apply for Financial Aid It's time to complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) for the 2008-09 academic year. Students and parents will need a FAFSA PIN number in order to access the Renewal FAFSA online. If you do not remember your PIN, you may request that it be sent to you by following the instructions at www.pin.ed.gov. Select the menu item "Access my PIN e-mail". Please complete your 2008-09 FAFSA as soon as possible, as financial aid funding is limited. We recommend that you estimate your income information if you expect a delay in 2007 tax filing. Be sure to include Puget Sound's federal school code 003797. Students who do not wish to apply for need-based aid do not need to complete the FAFSA. The Trustee, President's, and Dean's Scholarships do not require that you apply for need-based aid in order to qualify for renewal. Continuing student financial aid award letters will be mailed beginning in mid-June.
