LOGGERS SPEND FRIDAY IN THE POOL

McMINNVILLE, Ore./FEDERAL WAY, Wash. - The Puget Sound Loggers spent most of Friday in the water, sending representatives to both the Husky Invitational at the King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way, Wash. and the Northwest Invitational, hosted by Linfield in McMinnville, Ore.

At the Husky Invitational, the Loggers placed several swimmers into the consolation finals against a mostly Division I field.  University of Southern California leads the women's competition with 899 points while Michigan leads the men's competition with 1133.5 points.  The Loggers have 64 and 87 points respectively.

In the Northwest Invitational, the Logger men are sixth with 127 points and the women are seventh with 122 points.  Pacific Lutheran leads the men with 310 points while Lewis & Clark leads the women with 391 points.

Both meet continue all day on Saturday as the Loggers compete for the final time in 2007 before breaking for finals and the holidays.
