LOGGERS CAN'T OUTSWIM REDHAWKS
SEATTLE, Wash. - Swimming a meet comprised exclusively of mixed relays, the Puget Sound Loggers fell to the Division II Seattle Redhawks, 141-58, in a non-conference swim meet on Saturday afternoon at Seattle University in Seattle, Wash.
The Loggers won their only event of the day in the mixed 400 yard backstroke relay as the team of Jackson Kowalski (Keizer, Ore.), James Butler (Henderson, Nev.), Leesa Cotton (Keizer, Ore.) and Jessie Kuwada (Bellevue, Wash.) finished in a time of 3:54.06.
Puget Sound will next be in competition this final weekend of November when they travel to McMinnville, Ore. for hte Northwest Invitational. Some swimmers will stay in Washington that weekend to compete in the Husky Invitational at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way.
