PUGET SOUND SWIMS PAST PACIFIC

FOREST GROVE, Ore. - Combining to win 17 of 22 events, the Puget Sound Loggers swept a Northwest Conference swimming dual from the host Pacific Boxers on Saturday afternoon in Forest Grove, Ore.  The Loggers won 138-32 on the women's side and 115-72 on the men's side.

Amy Polansky (Melonomie, Wis.) was the lone double winner for the Loggers on Saturday.  Polansky took first in the 200 IM, finishing with a time of 2:16.57 and then she took first in the 100 Breaststroke with a time of 1:08.99.

On the men's side. picked up wins from five different individuals as they improved their dual record to 2-1 on the young season.

Next week, the Loggers head up to the Emerald City to take on the Seattle University Redhawks in a non-conference dual meet, beginning at 1:00 p.m.
