Library Conference RoomsThe library has three rooms available for University-related meetings, group presentations and events. Room Reservations To reserve any of the conference rooms in the library, (exception: Lower Level Rm. 020), please email Patti Turner at: roomreserve@ups.edu indicating the date, time, group, purpose and your contact information. If you need to contact Patti by telephone, her extension is 3209. Please note that you may not reserve a room when the library is closed. For a schedule of library hours, go to http://www.ups.edu/x3328.xml. Rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to heavy demand, there are times during the year when the rooms are not available. Food is not allowed in the library unless provided through UPS Dining Services X-3263. If you are serving refreshments, please allow an extra 30 minutes before and after your event to accommodate for set-up and pick-up. Media equipment including overhead projectors and vcrs, etc. can requested through Media Services at ext. 3963. Misner Room (Main floor, room 127) Seats 27. Fourteen around one large board room table and an additional 11 seats in perimeter upholstered chairs; has telephone, whiteboard and projection screen and side board. Reserve through the President’s Office by e-mailing roomreserve@ups.edu. McCormick Room (Third floor, room 303) Seats 44. Twenty-Six around nine (2.5' x 5.5') board room tables and an additional 18 in perimeter chairs plus four easy chairs and a loveseat. Has whiteboard, telephone, satellite cable outlet, projection screen, overhead projector, vcr and monitor. If you need a different table arrangement in the McCormick room, feel free to move tables as needed; however, please remember to allow extra time to return the tables to their original configuration before your group's departure. Reserve through the President’s Office by e-mailing roomreserve@ups.edu. Shelmidine Room (Second floor, room 209) Seats 18. Eight around large conference table and ten additional in upholstered chairs and loveseats. Has a telephone and lectern. A large whiteboard is available with pre-arrangement through Library Administration in advance of the event. The Shelmidine room is available from 8:00 am - 6:00pm. If you need a different table/furniture arrangement in the Shelmidine room, feel free to move tables as needed; however, please remember to allow extra time to return the tables to their original configuration before your group's departure. As a result of the rare book collection housed in Shelmidine it is generally not available for student use and is reserved for special events. Presentation Room (Lower Level, room 020) Seats 30-50.
