Long distance calling, usage report, and dialing

Students
Student phone sets do not have long distance dialing capabilities. Students wishing to make long distance calls from their room may do so using prepaid long distance calling cards available from retail outlets such as the Bookstore.

Staff and Faculty
With their department heads approval, staff and faculty may have the capability to dial long distance.

Departmental Long Distance Usage Report
Budget Managers who review their department's long distance calls may submit requests to have their report modified by e-mailing phones@ups.edu.

For information on how to dial long distance such as foreign countries, try this helpful site www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/dialing.html. Remember that the first number entered must be a 9 to obtain an off-campus dial tone.
