Conference calling

Conference phone

Any campus member may check out a conference phone from Mail Services with UPS id. These phones can only be used on analog phone ports which are available in most conference rooms. Departments are encouraged to purchase their own conference phone to ensure availability and may contact phones@ups.edu for consultation.

Dialing Long Distance

The least expensive option for dialing long distance is to use a prepaid calling card available from retail outlets. If you would like to give conference attendees the ability to join your conference toll free, there are several vendors that provide such service, see Conference Calling Service below.

Departments wishing to utilize a conference calling service that'll facilitate toll free long distance calling for all conference participants may contact the vendor of their choice to establish an account.
