Guidelines for UseAccess Students, faculty, visiting scholars, and members of the public with research inquiries are welcome to consult the University Archives. An overview of the contents of the collection is available on this web site. In-person use of archives materials is by appointment only. Please contact Elizabeth Knight.
Requests for information or materials will be handled as time, staff, and the fragility of the materials permit. Requests from UPS students, faculty and staff have priority. Because of the fragile and unique character of materials in the archives, great care must be taken in their handling and use. The collection is non-circulating.
Class Use of the Collection The University Archives is a rich collection of primary source materials. On-site class sessions can be arranged. Certain materials may be made available for a professor or student to use in the classroom if advance arrangements are made.
Photocopies Photocopies may be made for the convenience of the individual user in support of research and teaching if the item can stand the stress. |
