We encourage you to visit us early and often, beginning in your first year. We can assist you with issues such as career exploration, campus employment, and job search strategies for part-time and full-time positions.

What are your summer plans?
Summer can be a great time to further your career path. (Even lounging on a beach, daydreaming about your future is a good start!)

• Delve into the CES website; search exclusive career exploration resources: *Vault On-Line Career Library and  *InternTrak Database.
• Talk with people working in career fields that interest you.
• Find out "What can I do with a major in..." on-line or in person at the CES Career Resource Library.
• Peruse the *ASK Network and find out where alumni with your same major work. (Set up informational interviews with them to learn more.)
• Take on-line assessments to find out what careers best match your personality. (Then schedule an appointment to have a CES career advisor interpret the results.)
• Build or update your resume -have your family look at it.
• Scan *Hot Jobs and Hot Internships.
• Explore the Career Resource Library virtually or in person.
• Develop an Elevator Speech and practice it on your family.
• Daydream about life after college. You might have a career-related epiphany!
• Drop by CES if you are in the area. (CES is open all summer long.)
