2008 LOGGER OPEN GOLF TOURNAMENT
The University of Puget Sound Athletics Department is hosting the 5th Annual Logger Open Golf Tournament on August 14, 2008 at Trophy Lake Golf & Casting in Port Orchard, Wash.
Proceeds from the Logger Open directly benefit Puget Sound student-athletes by supporting our awards and recognition program and providing various programmatic needs as we continue to build on our strong tradition of athletic excellence. The Open also provides participants the occasion to talk with current and former coaches and student-athletes.
Complete Logger Open registration materials will be made available online in the next few weeks or can be requested by contacting the Athletic Department at 253.879.3140.
Tournament registration includes tee prizes, complimentary access to the driving range, golf carts, and the opportunity to win prizes in the closest to the pin and longest drive contests. Team entries are encouraged or the Open organizers can place participants in a foursome. Prizes for the tournament, which will be played as a scramble, will be awarded for top net and gross scores.
The event concludes with a dinner (included in the tournament entry fee). Additional dinner reservations may be purchases for those who do not participate in the golf portion of the event.
