The Environmental Studies (ES) minor allows students to enrich their major with courses focused on environmental issues and decision making.

The ES minor is a young and growing program in a natural laboratory for studying environmental issues. Puget Sound is ideally located for studying the relationships between humans and the environment. We are situated in the middle of pressing urban problems such as transportation gridlock, industrial contamination, and city growth while we border the most important natural resource problems facing the west today, such as endangered species protection and forest and water management.
