The University of Puget Sound is an integral part of a vibrant Tacoma community and North End neighborhood that enrich the experiences of our students in countless ways.

The University of Puget Sound enjoys many wonderful attributes, and our surrounding community is chief among them. The Tacoma area offers students a full range of natural, community, and cultural opportunities in which to discover themselves. This relationship with our surroundings is reciprocal, as the University of Puget Sound, its faculty and its students, serve as a resource to the community.  Following graduation, many of our students choose Tacoma and the region as their home, continuing to contribute to the city's economy and perpetuate Tacoma’s cultural renaissance.
