BrassWorks 2007

3rd Annual BrassWorks

The University of Puget Sound invited brass enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels to attend a day of special events, which featured guest artist Gail Williams, horn professor at Northwestern University and member of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra when the brass section defined classical brass playing in America. This year's Brassworks also included equipment displays by Ted Brown Music and Giddings and Webster mouthpieces; a breathing workshop by low brass professor, Ryan Schultz; and performances by University of Puget Sound Brass Ensemble and Wind Ensemble, Judson Scott and Robert Taylor were the conductors.

All events were held in the Music Building on the campus of the University of Puget Sound (building #5 on the map). All events were open to the public: free with advance registration, $10 the day of the event.
