Order TranscriptBeginning July 1, 2005, there will no longer be a $3.00 charge for official transcripts. If you have an outstanding balance from previous requests, your current request will be processed and mailed, and you will receive notification of the total amount you owe. Payment will need to be made by check as we do not accept credit or debit cards as a means of payment. Our office hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday. If you are unable to visit the office, a transcript request form is provided for your convenience. You can send your request using the following methods: By mail to: University of Puget Sound Office of the Registrar 1500 N. Warner St #1034 Tacoma, WA 98416 By fax to (253)879-3108 By e-mail to registrar@ups.edu. Current students or students who have access to their University assigned e-mail account do not need to send a signed request form as long as the request is sent using your University assigned e-mail account. If you do not have access to a University assigned e-mail, please send a signed request as an attachment to your e-mail. Electronic signatures will not be accepted. The subject line should be "transcript request". If you are unable to download the transcript request form you can send a written request with the following information: - Current Name and any former name(s) you may have used
- Social Security Number or UPS ID number
- Date of Birth
- Current Address
- Telephone Number
- Graduation date or approximate dates of attendance
- Type of transcript (official or unofficial)
- Recipient's Name and Address (if your are the recipient please indicate so in your request)
- Your Written Signature (required to release your transcript)
Transcripts are normally mailed approximately 24 hours after receipt of the request but may be delayed due to unforeseen circumstances. Transcripts for current students are updated at the end of each grading period. Therefore there may be a period of 10 working days after grades are posted when your transcript is not available to be released. Once your request has been processed, confirmation showing when and where your transcript was sent will be mailed to you.
